Weird temp problem with Nf7-S

I'm having some really weird temp problems with my board. Normally my idle temp is around 44C and load at 50C, but sometimes my idle is at 50C and load at 53C, and sometimes my idle temps drop all the way down to 38C. All these changes happen under the same conditions. If I reboot, it usually gets me back my normal temps. Does anyone know what the problem is?
 
It sounds to me like the on-board thermal diode is messed up. Try checking your temps in CMOS setup rather than using a program in Windows and see if the temps still fluctuate.
