weird sound coming from speakers

Hi all,

My speakers are making a funny "water sprinkler" sound. "chick chick chick" yeah....

At first I actually thought it was the water sprinklers outside, but found out later it wasn't when the sound persisted. I have the latest sound drivers (SB Live), any suggestions?

If you mute your sound output, does the sound still occur? Try muting line in and mic lines, as well as any aux. lines.

check your connections...i.e. speaker cables. Well you do have the latest drivers..humm possibly hardware problem?
