Weird slow motion effect in Win NT4 that causes my 950Mhz computer to act like a Pentium 100 sometimes? Can you help?

This is very weird. Since I installed a Celeron II 633 into my Abit Bh6 based system, and am overclocking to 950Mhz, sometimes my system will slow down to a crawl. And I mean a crawl. Click on a program, and it takes 30 seconds to a minute to launch. Exit and the same thing happens. I have got 340 mb of space on the root drive, and lots of other space. Anyone have any ideas? A reboot fixes the problem, but I never had it before when I was running a Pentium 700. And after the last time this happened there was a tiny grey dot in the middle of my screen, maybe 5 pixels by 5 pixels. This seems pretty suspiciious. ??Help!!! I don't want to have to reboot on a regular basis.

when this happens, pull up task manager and show applications and you'll see the hog application sitting up top with all the cpu

I think I found the culprit. CoolSrv.exe, which PC Cool installs as a process, was hogging a lot of CPU time. I suspect it is up to something not so good. I'll uninstall it and see if that fixes the problem.
