Weird request, help with surgical masks

Ok, so I'm going to be travelling around later this week and I'm going to have to end up having a long lay over in Toronto. The whole SARS thing in Toronto has made my parents quite nervous. They've decided that I need a surgical mask, just in case. I think it's quite silly, but I guess it can't hurt. Now my problem is, I went to Walgreens earlier and apparently they don't sell these little thingies. I've checked around online and I can find only online shops sell them, and since I'm leaving Thursday, that's not going to work out. Any one here know where I can buy one? Thanks a bunch ahead of time.

Check home depot/lowes, ask for dust masks. They sell them for sanding and such. I think they're similar to what they use in surgery, they're padded slightly with a metal strip to bend around your nose and elastic straps that hold them to your face.

If I'm wrong, someone correct me. I know home depot/lowes carry them, but I don't know if its the same thing or not.

Yeah, I think there's a dinstinction between like masks that protect against dust/paint and whatnot, and there's the kind that protect against viruses and sutff. I dunno though, I'm a newbie when it comes to this stuff too. Thanks for the help, I'll check out the hardware stores.

any other suggestions? it seems like everything the hardware stores carry is for paint/dust protection, and I don't know if that's effective against SARS stuff
