Weird rebooting problem and Norton

Hi all... first:
Epox 8k87a
1.33g Tbird
2x256mb of DDram (crucial)
Geforce2 Pro 32mb (winfast)
Win 98SE

Recently (the past two days) I've suddenly started experiencing random lockups and restarts, only in windows, and for no apparent reason. Sometimes the computer will hang after login, sometimes after 20 minutes, but always when I'm web browsing/doing normal stuff on the computer. Nothing has been installed recently, and before this my machine was rock solid. Temps are below 110f... any ideas?

I ran a norton system check, and it gave me an error at a ram address. Then it hung. I'm clueless... could it be ram?
Alternatively, could it be norton? I've heard that norton systemworks doesn't coexist well with 98SE...
Any ideas? Thanks guys!

UPDATE: On last random restart, windows said: "Invalid or missing configms file, please restart" in dos. Clueless.

I just realised I installed the latest Detonator drivers (XP) yesterday... could that have anything to do with it?
