Weird Radeon Problem

i just got my Radeon 64MB VIVO (replacing my old Voodoo3 2000) and installed it on my freshly formatted machine. After I installed the drivers, there's something weird that happened to my display. On the left hand side is a darker area about 1 inch wide which runs vertically on my display. It is noticeably darker than the rest of the screen. Text and other images also seem "stretched" when they fall in this "dark" area. Has this ever happened to anyone? My monitor worked without problems with my old vid card. (i have a 19" Futura LP995 btw).

Any help would be great.
