Weird Question, but I need help buying a gift for a Geek

If he plays first-person shooters get him a nice mousepad that is compatible with optical mice - if he doesn't already have one.

I recommend a Ratpad if he needs a mousepad. If he needs a mouse, well, both Logitech and Microsoft are fine.

Well, you could get some age specific items, but you robably already know what i'm talking about there.

Alternatively, you could get computer hardware (as always), or if you want to be more romantic, get whatever you'd even a normal guy. (Geeks need love too.)

Just surprise him and i'm sure he'll love it. Give him something from theheart. 🙂

For ten bucks I just bought myself a keychain white LED flashlight with tiny alkaline batteries that last 200 hours. I've already used it a hundred times plugging and unplugging stuff in my computer. It's a black steel sphere maybe 1/4 by 2 in with a pen clip and an on off button. Really slick and I carry it wherever I go.

Hey Moonbeam, maybe the girl would like to know where you purchased that keychain in case she decides to get one for her BF.

I'm glad nonoe of you are my girlfriend cause you come up w/ crappy gift ideas 🙂

Get him lingerie. Yes, I know you wear it, but he'll like it more than a mousepad or a flashlight.

Heh heh, we all likez da gadgets - but I'd have to agree with notfred on this one 😀 Of course, depends on the nature of your and his relationship. If ya dont'z go there, than go-go-gadget RATPAD! Or that pan and tilt camera thing 😉

does he like surprises? I like whatever I ask for, surprises tend to suck. Why waste money on something that they really dont want.

This pad is getting awesome reviews for opticals. Better than ratpadz, even.

steel pad

Couple that with dinner @ Chili's / Red Lobster / etc..., and you may have a winner.
