I really appreciated if someone can identify this weird problem that I am having with
my Asus CUSL2. It happened all of the sudden today for the first and now I am
unable to boot up my computer. The frequnency of the processor is no longer working or
storing in the BIOS. I have a P3/800, 128MB SDRAM PC100. When turning it on this afternoon, the BIOS reported that I have a 533mhz. I hit the reset button and the next BIOS screen said a 1002mhz. I then manually changed the frequency from jumper free to switch 1-3-5 (on) as listed on page 22 of the manual and it still boots to the bios screen asking me to set the frequency. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Easy one -- just select the frequency from the pulldown, save, and exit, and it'll show up at the proper frequency and boot right up.

At least, this works fine when you've set the jumpers to the Auto setting and use the SoftCPU exclusively...
