Weird Problems on Windows XP via boot camp

From what I can tell this only happens when I have an active network connection.

macbook pro

Periodically I will hear "bu-doo" (you know the sound xp makes when it unmounts a device) and the touchpad and mouse will stop working then i'll hear "bu-dink" (sound when i mounts device) and they will both work again.

I've searched everywhere and haven't found anybody else with this issue. I don't know what to do to figure out the problem. (i've run all windows updates) I have windows xp pro sp2. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

(should i post in technical support?)

Setup was a breeze. Everything seems to work fine, cept apple left out some key little things that just make os x so much better, you find that you just boot up os x unless you absolutly have to use windows. the trackpad doesn't scroll, there is no control click unless you download a 3rd party program (it's small and free though). most importanly you can't control alt del. and turns out that is an important thing to be able to do in windows. I re-mapped a key to the del key so now i can. It does work fine though. I'm super happy with my macbook pro purchase
