Weird Problem

I have a weird question for you all. How can I keep my desktop icon's from moving around? I can move them where I want them, restart my computer, and they are right where I put them. But if I open any program or game, when I go back to the desk top, they are all moved around. I never had this problem before. Last time this happened there were about 12 icon's stacked right on top of each other! Any way to make them stay where I put them?

I have a Matrox G400Max card with the drivers that came with them.
