Hi,
I have a strange problem I cannot seem to get a grip on. In my home network, I have all devices connected to a gigabit switch (Cisco 16 port), which connects to Cisco E4200 v1 router, which connects to internet modem. Cisco acts as DHCP server for entire network, all Wired devices have DHCP reservations. I have 3 network players (an older eGreat, a WDTV live, and Popcorn Hour PCH A210. All media files reside on Synology Diskstation 1511+.
Network works great, no problems with my iMac, two iPads, three iPhones, 2 Panasonic Viera TVs, Win laptop etc.
BUT! WDTV Live and PCH A 210 seem to have a problem with each other. They each work fine when the other is disconnected, but when I start them both, soon one of them or both freeze up. It's not an IP problem, but I cannot figure it out. I use samba.
Any ideas? It's driving me crazy!
