Weird problem

Ok, I've been gaming along happily since I've got my new system, which is listed below. The other morning, I get up, and my monitor light just keeps blinking when I turn the machine on. Like it's in standby mode, sleep, or something.

I tried a different monitor with the machine, and it immediately went into sleep mode as well. I tried another monitor after that, and the same thing. I don't have a spare PCI-E card laying around, but I suspect it's the video card, or the DVI connection. I really don't know what to do, as I've never seen or had this problem before. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if so, how did you fix the problem?

Looking forward to hear your thoughts and suggestions.

P.S. - Haven't tried an analog connection yet. Need to get a converter plug for that.

Your answer my be obvious, but did you cycle the power switch on the monitor. I've noticed that sometimes my UPS forces the computer into hibernation, and it won't boot up without shutting down the computer. If that can happen, then something may be interfering with the monitor power in a similar fashion.

Yes, I tried that. I'm thinking it's definitely the video card. I just tried a different PCI Express card from a shop, and things worked perfectly. I guess that I'll have to RMA this card.
