whenever i flip the switch to on, on the power supply, the computer will turn itself on. i'd like to fix this problem. i haven't really messed with anything. what's up?

msi k8n neo2 platinum, athlon64 3000, 9800 pro, and a power supply that came with an antec case that worked well before.

Well it took me a second to figure out what you were talking about ( i was like what is the problem then) lol. For those who didn't get it as quick he is talking the switch on the PSU itself not on the case.

Well are you powering the computer off before doing this because if you aren't you might be triggering the AC PowerLoss/Restart feature. Go into your BIOS under Power Management and disable this feature.

thanks for the suggestion. i'll try it out in a second.

edit: well i couldn't find the setting, but now i know that it was because the switch was flipped when the computer was on. thanks.

That should make the computer turn itself back on after a power failure... Since I use my system to record tv, it's nice to not have to worry about the computer staying off after a power failure.
