Weird problem with ram and video card

I dont know what exactly happed but now when I play any video game, besides quake3, all 128 meg of ram on the cpu gets eaten up. I have a geforce3 that has 64 meg on it and games like diablo2 and tribes2 eat the memory up. It never happened and my old geforce2 gts 36 meg. Anyone hear of this and or have any suggestions?

Are you using Win98?.... since it`s not very good with memory anyway all I can think of is put your AGP aperture size to 32mb in BIOS,and try cacheman 5 from here .

Yes, Im using win98. I also use ram booster to free the ram up but it still loads up during gameplay.
