Weird problem with Pioneer DVD-106 drive

I decided to put the drive back into computer the other day, bios found it and windows xp installed it when booted. The weird thing is that no matter what format disc I put in it whether it be a DVD/cdr/cdrw/music cds etc it ejects it after I put it in. It doesnt even start to read the disc it just ejects it after like 2 seconds of being in. Any suggestions?

Probably a bad drive, you sure it was working before?
