OK so first my rig specs:

amd64 3500+
2x BFG 6800GT OC in SLI
MSI K8n neo4 SLI
4x512corsair vs ddr
ocz modstream 520w ps
2xseagate 160gb sata
win xp sp2
77.30 Drivers

Now, when I try to play the battlefield 2 demo or GTA:SA with SLI turned the programs don't load.

Another weird thing is that I cannot change the resolution from the native res. of 1280x1024x32. Other attempts at forcing a resolution change result in weird graphical errors where it seems to maintain a 1280x1024 screen size and the desktop taking only the resolution set size of the whole screen.

I also get errors when 3dmark05 tries to run a test..I believe the third test.

I swear i'm gonna shoot this machine.

You left out one rig spec: video cards?

Anyway, what drivers are you running? Battlefield 2 fires up fine for me, but I installed the drivers that came with the Battlefield 2 demo?

GTA:SA is a brand new game for PC, and aren't the GTA games capped at 30fps? In any case, I'd try defaulting to the SFR with it, I see no profile for that game.
