weird problem with my computer.... almost funny.

hey all....

my computer is really weird..... it does everything at an accelerated rate (just now when someone signed off aim, the sound of slamming door is really high pitch...)

it plays movies, music, or maybe everything at like 3x speed........

any idea why this happens?

actualyl this is not my machine... this is school's machine that they assigned to one of the gsi...... i have to take care of it for him, and he is complaining that he can't watch the porn anymore....

worse part is, if i don't fix it for him, he'll kick my ass :Q (he's black belt in tae kwon do.....)

You haven't given us enough information... are you on the machine now? OS? machine type? last things installed? How long have you had the problem? You have to answer a lot of ?'s before anyone here can answer yours.
