weird problem with KT7 ?

ok ive had my computer running for a while now and came back from holidays to find that my computer doesnt want to work anymore ? it says when i boot up

"BIOS ROM checksum error"

ive never seen anything like it before and need some help asap, thanks. Ive tryed Bios flashing but it didnt work :/

my specs are as follows :

ABIT KT7
Creative Geforce 2 GTS
Duron 600@927mhz
SBlive
Quantum Fireball 15 gig
300W PSU

just tryed clearing the cmos, still same problem come on guys someone must have seen this before...

Did you previously flash the BIOS improperly, or had a failed BIOS flash?

i had that problem when i first put together my system and boot for the first time, but then i went to cmos to set the time and date, then it booted fine ever since...maybe doing so might help...or maybe its just my board...
