I have that CDRW on an Epox 8KTA3 (non-raid) on the second channel as master. Like half the time, I won't be able to read anything from the burner, but it'll still burn correctly (only sometimes).
I am using Win2k, and when it doesn't read any CDs, it just says:
G:\ is not accessible
Incorrect Function
If I take the IDE cable off, put it back on, just mess with it, then next time I boot into Windows it would read again. I've tried 3 different IDE cables (ATA33 and ATA100 cables), and DMA is turned on for the drive.
Any suggestion/help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
BTW, the firmware is 1.08, but I've tried 1.05 and 1.07, same thing.
