Before you ask me,i have all the latest drivers and BIOS for the mobo. Also, the latest versions for the programs i used.My system:4300@2.8 GHz at stock volts,2 gigs 800MHz ram,Leadteak 8800 GTS 640 MB A2 core,Gigabyte S3 MOBO Rev 1,Fortron BlueStormII 500 Watts etc,and 100% fan speed for the gpu, with load temps of about 64-72,depending on the game,XP.
When i OC with Rivatuner to 600/900,and then test to see whether the oc is stable with Atitool's fur cube, the timers resets pretty early on.
When i OC with Atitool to the same frequency, and then test to whether the oc is stable with Atitools's fur cube, the test runs ok up to 30 minutes (didnt have the patience to wait more than that).
I put the PCI Express frequency to 100 MHz,and overvolted the PCI E with 0.1,and still the same deal.
SO,why does Rivatuner oc'ing gives me artifacts, and atitool doesnt?
