hey all,
i have a recently installed ECS k75sa w/ athlon xp 1600+, 256 MB Crucial 2100. i have the problem that my winxp freezes on boot after being turned off for a while. if i go back into the bios, and tell it to load optimized defaults, change the fsb back to 133, then reboot, it boots fine. my only concern is that i am running an addtronics 300w powersupply, but once it gets booted, it is rock solid. i am running the newest bios (10-16).
anyone had a similar problem?

I think there may be a known problem with the CMOS batteries on these boards. Thankfully, I have had ZERO problems with mine. I'd try the forums over at OCWorkbench.

I've got WinME, Win2K, and WinXP up and running fine with my K7S5A and 1.4G T-bird ... 340W PS. If anything, I'd wonder if your power supply just isn't doing its job.
