All the sudden my computer just died. Nothing will bootup, then i went out and bought a new psu. However, the mobo light is on when i connected but still wont boot. I tried to bootup without ram and still nothing shows on the screen. There is no bootup sound and hdd wont spin either. Anyone know what could be wrong? thank you

The comp can't boot up without any RAM, so no surprises there. :) However, you can try booting with one stick in at a time, and see if any of them works.

Also check if all your cables/cards are connected/seated properly.

If with 1 stick at a time (use both) , you get no beeps or anything, try another approach.

Assuming everything is properly seated, your psu, mobo and fans work, check your video card.

Lastly your mobo maybe your culprit, but its difficult to do an online diagnotic.

What's your PSU? wattage and brand?
