Weird problem, be interested in hearing what y'all think...

every once in a while, say once every 5 hours or so, my speakers will have a repeating sound that's almost like a squeak. it's almost like if you scratch a record. scratch it back and forth about 3 times.

also, this just started today, but now, when that sound comes on, my right monitor (i have dual monitors)... the image on it will shift up and down along with the scratches. shifts about an inch or so i'd say.

just curious as to what you guys think this could be. i'm thinking something to do with power spikes...
 
my guess would be power spikes, it could also be something interfering with it.


also, it could be that a washing machine might have been turned on, next things this happens go look for something that might have been turned on exactly at that moment.
