Weird pixel behavior on an LCD

New monitor (Samsung 2253LW in case you're wondering), and it's got a pixel with a mind of its own. I first noticed it showing green against my black desktop, but when I put the cursor over it, it changed to red. This made me curious, so I opened up paint and started experimenting. Here are the results, the left side shows what color I told it to display, right side is what I actually got.

R+G+B -> R
R+G -> R
R+B -> G
G+B -> B
R -> G
G -> B
B -> G
. -> G (. = black)

Adversely, in shown color <- intended color combos format:

R <- R+G, R+G+B
G <- ., B, R, R+B
B <- G, G+B

I tried to find a pattern, but the best I could come up with is that R+G+anything produces red, G+anything but red produces blue, and anything else produces green. Still, I have no idea what could cause something like this.

I'll be RMA'ing the monitor anyway, but I'm really curious if anyone has an explanation to what's going on here.
