Weird phone number called

From what I can find it's from Montserrat in the Caribbean somewhere. I know
I don't know anyone there and this is the second time they've called.
Didn't leave a message or anything.

I would say wrong number, but my answering machine message would tip them off you would think.

I tried calling back and it said the number wasn't in service.

Weird.
 
Don't ever call numbers of which you don't know... I hear of phone scams that go exactly like that, where when you call back to find out who it is, the phone charges are in the thousands and you can't do anything about cancelling it!
 
Call you phone company and see if they can assist you, don't call the phone number SpiderX 🙂
 
Thats what I was thinking, it could be one of those scam things. I was prepared to hang up right away. I won't call again, last thing I need is some $20000 charge on my phone bill. eeps
 
Those phone scams originate from the Caribbean. I think the rumor that they charge thousands is an urban legend, but it is high. The fact that it was from the Caribbean told me right away what it was. That's probably why the number wasn't in service. Got busted within hours.
