Didn't know this was possible, but i guess since they run through the lines differently they can work independantly of each other....

I wonder if it would be cost effective at all for Florida to bury its powerlines?

It is not odd. DSLAM can still communicate with your modem even if line is dead since it does so using different freq' range than that of human voice.

or something like that. :roll:

Yeah, I was looking for them in my area, but I couldn't find them.

Generally, how deep do buried powerlines go?

Here in north Mississippi, the water table can vary in depth from 5 feet down to 20 or 25-feet. Typically, it's pretty deep and rare to find the water table less than 10 feet.

I may be wrong, but I think that's just around that particular well. If Florida's water table was like that across the state, you'd have major problems with shallow foundations during the summer months.
