Weird overclocking problem

Hi,

I have been trying to overclock my Thunderbird 800 on a Asus A7V. I have connected the L1 bridges and changed the multiplier to 8.5 and it booted perfectly at 850Mhz. With a 9 multiplier it does not boot. The strange thing is, that I can get to 935Mhz stable using the 8.5 multiplier and a 110Mhz bus speed?? Is there any reason why I can't boot at 9 x 100Mhz? Upping the voltage didn't solve the problem either.

Thanks!

Thx for the help! I did reconnect them (properly this time) and I am running at 950Mhz now! 😉 Will post at 1Ghz but it is very unstable. I need better cooling first! 😀
