when my cpu idle and the vcore drop to 1.27 there's this sound like your ear pop when ur going down from a really high bridge, and when the cpu loads vcore up to 1.36 or higher it stop dead silence no sound whatsoever. Brand new psu, just installed it this morning.
my last psu the ultra v series 500w has similar problem too just with difference sound, i got the feeling it would die pretty soon, and i was right , it fry'd last night when i was doing memtest.
i've been using that ultra v series for 10 months for my dual core e6700 without a problem until recently i upgrade to q6600/Abit ip-35 pro, thats when the problem start.
so iam sure thats either the mobo or the cpu that cause it.
any1 have this corsair 620hx ? is this normal?

The Abit IP35 Pro and the Corsair 620HX are both highly rated, but the combo has been known to cause a few people problems for reasons as yet unknown.

There are threads about it in the Abit forums. Most people don't have trouble, but those who do can solve it by swapping PSUs -- a lot less hassle than swapping boards. Your symptoms do not sound like they are caused by the mobo.
