Weird nightmare / sleepwalking incident

I don't know what I was dreaming about prior, but I do remember reaching up at a stacked tower of cisco routers because they were about to fall on us. I remember feeling pretty panicked about them falling.

Then my wife was startled and was shouting what was wrong and what was I doing... woke me up a little disoriented, I was almost standing in bed with my arm up in the air. Had she not woken me up, I would have pulled the ceiling fan down on top of us because that is what I was actually reaching for.

Odd. 😱

edit:
I just talked to my wife about this - apparently what woke her up was not my movements, but I was screaming something. When she asked what was wrong several times, I answered back in jibberish. 😛

Relax dude....I guess you are working too much, to the point that you are also working while you are sleeping..😀

I'm getting pressed to put together an enterprise class DMZ solution to bring all of our corporate sites inhouse as well as new web apps a department is working on. My manager wants the solution in place yesterday without any testing before making the purchase, even though none of us are adequately trained in configuring Cisco PIX configs.

So yea, cisco is on my mind right now...

No big deal. Let's see...

Woke my wife up once because she was picking up the VCR on top of the TV on top of the dresser while asking me if we should get "these pizzas"

Woke her up to get her back in bed after she jumped out of bed shouting that "it moved" pointing to her pillow and repeating that it was moving.

Steered her back to bed as she was walking around the room. Cannot remember why, but hey, I was asleep.

She handed her sheets to one of the girls telling her that she had signed the papers and she needed to give them back to her teacher.

More common than you think and need to worry about.

We still laugh hysterically about the time we got back in the car at Six Flags and the oldest daughter started laughing and unable to speak. In between her gasps for breath, we hear a crunching noise. The youngest, who I carried back to the car asleep, was picking up Legos and putting them in her mouth like Cheetos. Crunch, Crunch, Crunch. Never did wake up, but we got them out of her mouth and out of range. 😀

I have dreams about programming when I am stressed about work. What's weird is that I can never get a grasp of what the program is about or recognize the code.

I've done that! My wife woke me up in the middle of a dream and asked me what I was doing, and I replied "There's monsters in my desk eating my deodorant!"

I haven't lived that down yet.
