Weird network sharing problem

Ok so there's 3 computers sitting behind a Netgear MR814 router. Its a cable modem conenction. All comps are running XP. XP firewall is shut off.

I can see the other computers through Network Neighberhood - but when I try to open/explore them to access shared folders I get the following error.

\\computername is not accessible. You might not have the permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Access is denied.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Nothing else at all. the only firewall is the hardware in the router.

yes. Fix permissions. Easiest way is to either use the same Username/PW on all 3, or make a user for each machine with the same password on each machine.

so either user test password test on all 3 computers, or
user1 pass one is used for computer one, dupllicate the account on the other twe
