weird msn(windows live messenger) problem

this problem never happened to me before and it just started today when i turned on my computer. everytime i click the sign in button on msn, nothing happens. it flashes "signing in" for about 0.1 seconds then returns back to the "sign in" button.

i tired to do a repair on msn but it told me that it couldn't repair msn. so i deleted my msn and installed it again, and still have the same problem. can anyone please tell me what's wrong with my msn? thanks.
 
Virus removed recently? This happens after a virus is removed and you will have to do a repair on windows. There is a work around but I find its easy to do a repair.
