Weird MSN Emoticon Quirk

When I type *one, I get an emoticon for "i'm". It's not in my custom emoticon list at all and when I type it out, only I can see it as the recipients just see the text *one.

I've tried uninstalling and deleting a few profile related registry keys and folders.

This is on Windows Live Messenger 8.1. Any advice?

Ok, my buddies have also started running across this quirk as well with Windows Live Messenger 8.1.

So far, the bugged text I've run into have been:
*one
*care
*red+u
*help
*bgca

Weird eh?
