That sounds like a good call, replace the power supply. Since you replaced the memory and board I would rule those 2 out, they are not the problem. Let us know what happens. The saga continues....

well i change the psu to a unit that has NEVER given me any problems. i put the psu in monday and turned the machine on and asked my wife to use it for her web travels and other stuff she does instead of her machine. last night(thursday) i got home and the computer was locked up, the mouse wouldn't even move. i could see from the programs she had open, all she was doing was surfing, nothing hard. i asked her about it and she said about :45 into her session of surfing, checkine emails, ebay etc, it just locked up, she hit ctrl+alt+del and then the mouse wouldn't even move.... looks like the asus board... 🙁

IMHO: its the board. MSI for my experience is hit or miss. I know other members won't even touch them. good luck.

I am one of those members, after being had a few times I will never buy an other MSi product ever again.

Looks like you should have picked the Asus. 🙁

Sad to see you go Budman 🙁 I ordered the mobo in my Hamburglar system from newegg. Had to RMA. 2nd time around, I got a working one that runs flawlessly. I do agree MSI is kind of hit or miss, but for its price, it's pretty good. My P4-Monster also runs an MSI board, which too, runs flawlessly.
