Ok heres the situation,
About 3 weeks ago, my mouse (Logitech MX518) started acting up. I am currently running Windows XP Pro SP2 and every 3-4 hours or so my mouse would lose all of its clicking ability. I'd be able to move the cursor around, but it would not let me left or right click on anything. Ctrl+Alt+Del just brings up the task manager but I still cant click on anything so I always end up having to restart my computer. Anyone have any advice or am I doomed to re-installing windows? Any help at all would be great.
P.S. I dont know if it could be related, but the power extension cable to my ATI Radeon x1600 looks like it is black on one side, as if its been burned. I dont see the video card causing this issue, but I've been wrong about these sort of things before.
