weird monitor discoloration

i just bought a new samsung 753df today and i noticed there is a minor discoloration near the right edge... when i use someting white full screen, i can see that there's this band near the right edge where it's slightly blue. i've tried degaussing and it doens't seem to help... here's the weird part, as I rotate the monitor, that discoloration disppaears but the area near bottom left turns a little blue... it's as if there's a strong magnetic field near the monitor... now i have it turn to an angle where the discoloration is not noticable... what gives?!?! i know it's not my speakers cuz i removed almost everything from the desk... could it be the metallic keyboard holder under the desk or something in the wall behind the monitor?? this is just frigging strange....

Because you can move the problem around you can be sure it is external to the monitor. Even something as small as a refridgerator magnet can cause this. Keep looking, you'll find it.
