Weird megaupload problem

I just sign up for MegaUpoad Premium again. Used to have it when I had my WinXP laptop. Now I have a Vista Home Premium laptop.

Anyway, I just noticed something weird. When I pause my MU downloads, there is still incoming data. I found this out because when I pause my downloads to surf the net, the internet connection is very slow. So I opened up BitDefender and see that there is still incoming data at the maximum rate. I check my router and the lights are still blinking (incoming data). I tried to download from other sites but don't have this problem. I tried to use BitDefender to block traffic and then unblock but when I go to unblock, the activity resumes again.

I tried to use my WinXP laptop to download and have no problem pausing. What the heck is going on?
 
My guess is that it has a problem with Vista's increased level of security. I just went to their web site and it is like a bit magnet - won't let go! Had to exit Anandtech and come back in to do this. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. I hate it when a website holds me as a prisoner.
