It's very random, and I might be crazy (probably am) but it seems like when it does do it, it flickers to my HD accessing something, I have a Raptor so the sound is pretty noticeable. I don't know if it has to do with my video card or I have a bad monitor, or it's something else. But it's annoying, it doesn't happen often at all which is weird, and when it does it seems to come and go pretty quickly.

Was wondering if anyone has a Gateway 24" and has this problem, I bought it a few weeks ago from Best Buy, so I'm going to assume I have a newer Jan model.

Check your refresh rate, see if it's at 85hz or which ever works best. Windows defaults it to 60hz. Just a thought.

hummm I didn't think LCD's used refresh rates, but I checked and it was at 60 and there was a 100hz option, so I set it to 100. Will be nice if that fixes the flicker thanks man

refresh rate means little to nothing on an LCD.. 60hz is reccomended

I'm using the DVI cable that came with it, shouldn't there be zero interference over a DVI cable since it's a purely digital signal?

My new 2407WFP Dell flickers slightly when it is first powered on after being off for a while (power off). It only lasts a few seconds and then is a solid image at 1920x1200x60hz.
