Weird Iwill KK266-R & Intellimouse Optical problem???? HELP!!!

On my main rig I have a Iwill KK266-R with an AMD 1.1GHZ CPU (non-overclocked) and a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical USB (new style). Running Win2K Server with SP2 and Antec PP303X PS.

When I go to shutdown Win2K Server, Windows closes normally but when the computer goes to power down it goes into a rebooting cycle (Looks like when it hit the restart button over and over). If it hit the power button on the case it turns off.

Have tried to narrow problem down by:
- No problems shutting down when I unplug the Intellimouse before shutting down
- No problems shutting down when I use stardard PS2 mouse
- No problems shutting down with a PS2 mouse and USB game controller plugged in.

There are no question marks in the Device Manager in Win2K and the Intellimouse operates normally inside Windows.

Any ideas???

Have you updated the BIOS? Might be BIOS if you didnt updated.
Or might check at Microsoft on MSN support go to FAQ they have several cases answered and solved there. Yours might be there.

Good luck!

it's the problem wit the bios, flash to the second one, the april one and it will stop. don't use the latest one unless u need the 1.4ghz compatibility.

Just flashed to the 0426 BIOS and all problems disappeared. Computer now shuts down without any problems.

Thanks
