Wondering what other people thought about this. There are two problems, but I think they're related.
First, is that when I have a USB hub hooked up to my computer, it occasionally just completely turns off. It doesn't reboot, just the system powers off suddenly. The event log shows nothing. I've tried a few different hubs, and they all do it.
Second, is that sometimes when I'm playing a game, the whole screen suddenly distorts and locks up, requiring a reboot. Usually it'll be mild for a while, some textures get screwed up, then it'll get unfixable eventually.
My first thought is the power supply. Could my power supply be at its limits - the video card not getting enough juice sometimes, and the USB hub sucking enough power to shut off the PSU?
Any other ideas, or someone know how to verify this without tossing in a new PSU?
