Running Vista 32 Bit.
E6600 running @ stock speeds.
2x1GB Corsair TWINX PC-8500 5-5-5-15 @ 2.2 V (Certified by Corsair)
ASUS Striker Extreme
75GB WD Raptor as my main HD where the gmaes are installed
400GB WD4000YR SE Caviar 16 MB cache storage slave.
Running it all watercooled.
So I'm playing world of warcraft, and sometimes the damn game just randomly crashes and I hear the little error sound while the screen is frozen. I press enter and it shows me the error from WOWError.exe. That's not my problem, sometimes it gets even worse.
So I have my SGT Peppers rip playing the background and I'm listening to Track 1 where Paul McCartney starts up the best album of all time with a foot stomper. I'm in WOW having a ball in IF, just trolling and sometimes the screen freezes, but paul is still singing.
My questoin is what the hell is wrong with my computer? How can WoW freeze at the screen (literally like it's a screenshot just my last movement frozen, no movement no cursor appearing anywhere) and then my music is still playing and my other applications are doing just fine?
I hit the power button to program a windows restart and it doesn't do it. so when I restart it says "error" and tells me how I want to boot up with all those options.
I'm really weirded out because this used to happen to me on XP 64 bit as well. And I want to find the damn problem because I seriously find it annoying when my game randomly crashes or just randomly freezes and doesn't let me exit out of the process.
Any more info, just ask
McCartney.
