Two of my users went to a clients site this week. The site installed netware and and an Aegis 802.1x binding on the nics. When they get back both machines are unable to connect to the internet. I removed the bindings and it allowd me to get onto the LAN. But I still cant get them to browse. I can ping sites, I can trace route, nslookup. I cleared the clients dns cache. I reinstalled the devices.
But when I get onto the internet it will most times bring up the first site. The next site you go to will crap out. And some times it will run through a list of sites, so for instance
cnn.com it will go through cnn.com, cnn.org,cnn.edu. Then onto www.www.cnn.com ect.
Then finally it will crap out as well.
I am at a loss here as I have seen these issues in the past but were usually resolved by unbinding the netware or other garbage. It is odd that it can ping and trace to these sites but the browser craps. This is also affecting RPC over HTTPS for outlook.
Any ideas are appreciated.
