I have a 37" 1080p westy and am getting a weird issue with red text - i'm not sure if i've just never noticed it before or if its an issue with my tv

Red text appears fuzzy, and red pictures dont seem as clear as they ought to be. They look fine on my 2nd monitor which is a crt. Is there some issue with convergence or pixel alignment? How do i diagnose this? or better yet, fix it! 🙂

Is there any software that might be able to correct this? Or maybe a setting on the tv?

I remember there being a program i used once where you could change the alignment of the colors to make the picture fuzzy or clearer... anyone know what that might be?

I have an 8800gt with 169.04 drivers if it matters

Thanks in advance!

It's probably not your video card if you only see it on the tv and not on the monitor. What about the TV? what kind is it-- RP, DLP, Plasma, LCD? You may be able to fix it in your settings, but if it's a RP or DLP then your alignment might be off, in which case you'll probably have to pay a technician to repair it.

RED has always been the problematic color to reproduce whether on a CRT or LCD or basically any video. Red is the toughest color man.
