If there's a better spot for this, feel free to move it. I have an AOpen AK77-333 motherboard, AthlonXP 2400+ running at stock speed, 1024mb of Corsair XMS PC2700, one Maxtor 100GB IDE drive that is the boot drive and has WinXP Home with allt he updates installed. I just bought a brand new Highpoint RocketRaid100 card and two Western Digital 80GB 8MB cache hard drives. I installed the drivers and software for the card and it sees the RAID 0 array I made, but Windows does not. Is there anything else I need to do? I've never set up a RAID array before, so I'm a bit confused as to why this is not working.

Thanks for your help

Now go into Windows Disk Management and see if the array is listed in there as a drive. If so, you should be able to right-click it and pull up the menu you need to get it going. I would also convert it to Dynamic Disk for performance reasons, if you have Win2000 Service Pack 3 or WinXP of any SP level.

If you need help locating Disk Management in WinXP, I'm not much help since I don't use WinXP, but Windows Help will steer you to it, just search for "Disk Management."
