Weird issue when attempting to upgrade to 4GB in Vista 64

Hey guys, prior to yesterday, I had 2GB of OCZ DDR2 800 Spec-Ops gaming RAM. Yesterday, I purchased an extra 2GB of the EXACT same RAM. Anyways, I just now popped in the extra 2GB of RAM, and my system wouldn't boot up. I took out the fourth stick to see if it would run with 3GB, and it worked fine. What is the issue here? Thanks in advance.

BTW, my DRAM voltage is set to 1.95V.

Oh, and another thing I noticed: When I put the additional RAM in, my CPU FSB was turned down from 400MHz to 266MHz for some reason. I had to re-overclock it. What's up with that? Why would adding the RAM reduce the clock speed?

It's not a Windows issue. When I have all four sticks in, the OS won't even boot up. I turn the computer on, and the screen just stays black.

You're gonna have to raise the voltage to your NB chipset, and most likely will need to either raise your vdimm, or raise your RAM's timings, to be able to run 4x1 GB.

I tired raising the MCH to ~1.36V the DRAM voltage to 2.1V, still no dice. I put the MCH back to 1.25V and the DRAM back to 1.95V like before, running 3GB fine (until I figure out good settings to successfully run 4GB). The default timings on the RAM are 5-5-5-12, by the way.

Anyways, can someone give me some good voltages/timings to try that would possibly fix my issue? Thanks.

Boot with 2gb, update the MS patch.
Power down the rig.
Put additional 2gb.
Reboot.
If problem persists, burn a memtest image disc.
Boot from the memtest cd.
Run memtest.

Note: Have the latest bios update for the mobo?

Yes, I have the latest BIOS. I don't understand this problem. I should be able to just pop in 4GB and have things work fine. I heard OCZ has problems with this.

Like I said in that thread, still didn't work. I guess it's just a RAM issue. I don't know why I bought OCZ again. I've only had trouble with them.
