weird ipod?

Ok I have 3 Jet songs, Will you be my girl, Cold Hard B*tch and that other one..I forgot that name....the "p**sy" jet song.



anyways, I look in my artists and I click on Jet, I only see 1 song...."cold hard b*tch". But if I look at the individual songs I see Will you be my girl and that other jet song, yet they arn't sorted in the artist section?

What is going on?

Keep in mind I think I downloaded one of the Jet songs from itunes so I dont know why its acting up?

I just got my ipod and I want 2 make sure everything is o.k.

Also, is it ok to leave your ipod charged all night?

 
Check the song tags. The "Artist" field has to say Jet, regardless of the title, for it to show up under that artist.
 
Put an Album tag on those other two songs, that should fix it.

The reason for this is that whenever there's only one item in a category, the iPod only displays that one item. For example, yesterday, I put an album by Common and nothing else on the iPod. Whenever I went to Artist, all the songs from the Common album showed up, which confused me at first, but when I put songs from a different artist, it actually displayed the list of artists.

I had the same problem with two Luther Vandross songs. Here and Now, and A House is Not a Home.

Here and Now had an album tag, and A House is Not a Home didn't. Whenever I Went to Artist>Luther Vandross, only a Here and Now would show up. When I put an album tag on A House is Not a Home, it showed up under the Luther Vandross List.
 
Yep, pretty much. You don't even need iTunes to edit the tags... tags should be universal.

Yea, or you can edit them on the iPod itself if you've already uploaded them.
