Weird hypothetical situations...

Does anyone else think/daydream of different situations that you put yourself in and try to determine the different outcomes?

Here's one I was thinking of today....

I run into a room after hearing screams from my sister and find out that she is being raped. Now, I can either beat the sht*t out of the guy or have the police/courts handle it. Now if I decide to beat the guy up, he will probably press charges against me for assault. And if I am convicted and have an assault charge on my record, I could probably lose my current job and it would make it harder to land another one

So do I nothing and act like a p*ssy in front of my sister or beat him up?

But then I start thinking, wouldn't it be cool to have an assault charge and when people ask for a further explanation, I can say I why. But maybe that's being too twisted.

You could literally beat him to death and get off scott free if he was raping your sister.

I seriously doubt that, unless he didn't give up.

Though you might be able to get off with a temporary insanity plea.

If that happened, I'd beat the guy within an inch of his life. This way, once he heals up, he'll be the one getting raped.

I would kill him and there would be no charges filed - defense of another against from death or serious bodily harm or trying to prevent a forcible felony, such as rape, robbery, burglary or kidnapping. The law varies from state to state, but most have similar laws.

BTW, I'm a lawyer.
