good evening!

I have the following weird problem going on on two setups

1-
CPU :AMD Phenom 965
MOBO : Asus M4n98TD EVO
RAM : Corsiar 8GB DDR3
PSU : Corsair CS500

2-
CPU : Intel Core i7 920
MOBO : Gigabyte EX-58 UD4P
RAM : Corsair 12GB DDR3
PSU: Cooler Master Silent PRO 700

in both cases: windows 7 X64
latest AMD drivers 12.10
even tested with beta amd drivers (clean install).
both systems run stock; no bios tweaking, no overclocking.

when de computer starts, the GPU fans spin up, up to 100% for a few seconds and quiet down right afterwards.
when running Furmark at native screen resolution 1680 x 1050
the fans go at it @ 100% and the temps rise to 85+ within 3 minutes.

running the same card in my system:
CPU : C2Q @ 3.6Ghz
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6
Ram: OCZ Reaper DDR2 8GB
PSU: Corsair 1200
in both Windows 7 and Win8 X64
@ startup the fans start up quietly.
running the furmark @ the same resolution brings me
81C after 8 minutes and it stays that way
fans run @ 71%

what make the same card run rampant on
1- a system which is clock by clock slower then my C2Q?
2- a system which surpasses my system easily?

does anyone have an idea to why the same card runs just fine on my system and not in other systems?

please help.... :(
