Weird HDD problem

Hey guys,

So my laptop fried and I bought an enclosure for it. Easy enough. I hooked up the HD to the enclosure and all it says for the disk capacity is "System Reserved" with 100MB of space. It's an 80GB drive. It has been formatted using NTFS and this is under Windows XP. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Win 7 does that. Your laptop had Windows 7 installed before it fried?

Anyway, go to Computer Management (right-click on "Computer" or "My Computer", and click "Computer Management" from drop-down menu), and go to Disk Management. You can delete the reserved volume from there.
