This is with my old SLI 670 setup: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd....294/B0B00B4EB7E2DEB6793D8116FA34F94A89C32F9D/
And just now with my current setup (specs in sig): https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd....046/204C4079817BF584516E1738B44B130097FDF9D6/
This only happens when lightning flashes on screen - other than that one instance, the game looks perfect visually. I should note (and I'm still doing testing right now) that the HD Content DLC appears to remove lightning from the game completely. When I first posted about this after the game was released, I was told it was an issue with ultra settings not actually being ultra and there would be a free DLC that fixes the graphical settings. Personally, the game looks the same with the HD Content pack and I even benchmark higher with the DLC installed, but after I installed the DLC, lightning no longer existed in my game.
So, does anyone have any theories as to why I'm getting this rainbow bug? Could it be something that nVidia Inspector or some other third party application is controlling?
I highly doubt it's a driver issue seeing as how I've had the same effect on two different cards. Also, going back to the DLC, it seems (if my theory is true) the developers just removed lightning from the game rather than actually trying to correct the issue that's causing the bug. As I said though, I'm still testing by switching back and fourth between playing with and without the HD Content DLC.
