Well my friend has GeIL Golden Dragon PC3500 memory with timings of 2-6-3-3. He has to use the By SPD thing so the timings are 2.5-6-3-3. If he puts it to manual and leaves it at 2-6-3-3 it doesn't boot. The system is not overclocked and the memory voltage is at 2.7v because he won't up it up to 2.8v. Also he has the game accelerator set at all the defaults. Whats wrong?

Not sure if upping the voltage will help or not but you can tell your friend that Geil GUARANTEES that all of their RAM will run at 3.0V no problem. Tell him to check out their website.
